Kate has 15+ years of experience in various music industry roles from music producer to songwriter. She has produced both major label and independent artists in the country, pop and singer-songwriter spaces, as well as charting singles in both Canada and the US. Her songs have also appeared in TV shows and movies for ABC Family, Freeform Network, MTV and Summit Entertainment/20th Century Fox. Kate was the first female producer ever included in the esteemed ASCAP GPS Program (2020).

Kate L. Malone is a Nashville based producer, songwriter and author. She works with major label and independent artists in the pop, singer songwriter and country genres (Sam Hunt, Alana Springsteen). Her songs have appeared in TV shows and movies for ABC Family, Freeform Network, MTV and Summit Entertainment/20th Century Fox. Kate has also partnered with Splice to create several song-starter sample packs such as Nashville Essentials I and II, Southern Gothic, and YEEDM.
