Jace McCloy

I was born and raised in Lansing, MI. I've been singing and acting since I was 7 years old, and writing music since I was 13! In 2020, I graduated Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Music and a minor in Business Administration. Since then, I've lived in Chicago for 3 years, performing in groups like Opera Inter Alia and Chicago Cabaret Professionals! Some of my greatest accomplishments include the release of my debut album, Development, in March, 2023, as well as a successful summer stock season with the Woodstock Playhouse cast of 2022 in Woodstock, NY! In addition, I won the Denise Tomasello Scholarship in the 2023 Emerging Artists Showcase in Chicago, IL! This scholarship goes toward the recipient's first solo Cabaret show, which took place in July, 2024! In September, 2024, I performed in the Spoon River Cabaret, which celebrated the life of Edgar Lee Masters and his creation of The Spoon River Anthology! The highlight of this show was being able to perform it in the house where he wrote the anthology. This was an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience that I'm forever thankful to have been a part of! In November, 2024, I released my second album, Baptism, dedicated to my lovely wife. This album takes you on an intimate journey of love, hope, and happiness. Complete with spiritual poetry and flowing acoustic instrumentation, you'll surely feel transported to paradise upon listening.
