Tim Boyce : Mastering Engineer

Tim is a cross-disciplinary artist, His music mastering projects have been nominated and/or awarded Grammy, JUNO, APRA, BRIT, RIAA Platinum and Gold records, with awards in Africa, Australia, Asia, and Turkey, and has worked on Drama Desk, TONY, and TCG awarded theatrical productions. He is currently studying for a Masters of Arts in Conflict Resolution, Negotiation and Peacekeeping to help fellow creatives and alternative lifestyle practitioners navigate healthy conflict transformations. Originally a staff mastering engineer at Masterdisk NYC, Tim Boyce has worked with the best. Now with dedicated Studio Facilities in NYC, Portland, and Berlin. Tim's wide experience in both live entertainment and the recording industry, along with his higher education academics make him an excellent mentor and teacher for those looking to elevate their craft with personalized study and feedback.

Feedback is provided generally through writing, occasionally with examples on how to better structure arrangement, mix or mastering stages of production. Including comments on elements that were helpful or beneficial to the work, as well as areas that still need improvement along with suggestions to try and improve. we try to identify together the root causes, ie: if multiple songs have a problem with the low-end, we don't suggest more EQ, we may suggest a room tuning or attempting to mix in a rental facility to see if the architecture of the home studio is causing the issues, etc...
