Fiddle / Violin and Mandolin Lessons

Every lesson is built on solid classical foundations, that's where real technique comes from. But this isn't a conservatorium classroom. From the first session, you'll develop your ear, build musical memory, and be encouraged to improvise. Whatever style you're chasing, classical, Irish, country, bluegrass, jazz, rock, or a combination, lessons are shaped around where you want to go. Sessions run 30 or 60 minutes. For established players, there's a lot more on the table. If you want to expand your improvisational vocabulary, dig into a new style, or learn to multi-track and layer full string sections for your own recording projects, that's exactly the kind of work I love doing. If you're producing and want strings that sound like a real ensemble — built, arranged, and recorded by someone who's done it hundreds of times, I can teach you how to get there yourself. If you're already working with me on a session and want to understand what I'm doing and why, lessons are a natural next step. All ages and levels welcome.
