Sprint Mixing Levels 1-3 is a focused training series designed to help you become a faster, more decisive mixer. Each exercise challenges you to create the best rough mix possible in only 10 minutes using pre-mixed, volume-randomized stems. The goal is simple: trust your ears, make quick decisions, and focus on the music instead of the technology. No plugins. No endless tweaking. Just balance, instinct, and execution. You’ll begin by listening to the included reference mix of “2+2” by Philip Diox, mixed by Ken Lewis, so you can get familiar with the song and its final sonic direction. Then, open the session in Pro Tools or import the stems into your DAW, choose your level, pull all the faders down, set a 10-minute timer, and start mixing. When the timer ends, stop immediately. Bounce your mix, reset, and go again. Each level presents a different set of challenges, pushing you to improve your speed, judgment, and ability to create strong balances under pressure. Complete a level successfully twice in a row, then move up to the next one. This is not about perfection. - What Is Included
The Product includes:
• One READ ME instruction file, • A reference mix by Ken Lewis for listening and comparison purposes, • Volume-randomized, pre-mixed stem files for three separate levels.
- No Redistribution or Sharing
You may not copy, share, distribute, upload, sublicense, sell, gift, transfer, or otherwise make the Product or any part of it available to any other person or entity.
- No Commercial or Public Release Use
The stems, reference mix, and all related files are provided for practice only. You may NOT:
• Commercially exploit them, • Release them publicly, • Upload them to streaming platforms, • Use them in client work, • Sample them in other recordings, or otherwise use them in any commercial or public-facing project without prior written permission from Ken Lewis and/or the applicable rights holder(s).
- Ownership
All audio files, mixes, instructions, and related materials remain the property of their respective copyright owners. Your purchase grants you a limited license to use the Product only as described in these Terms. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
- No Posting of Files
You may not post the raw stems, the reference mix, your full exercise session files, or any substantially similar derivative material online, in forums, on social media, or on file-sharing platforms without prior written permission.
- No AI or Machine Training Use
You may not use any part of this Product, including the audio files or mixes, for training, testing, or developing any artificial intelligence, machine learning model, dataset, or related technology.
- Digital Download | All Sales Final
This Product is a digital download. Because digital products cannot be returned, all sales are final, except in the case of a verified technical issue with delivery or file corruption.
- Technical Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that you have compatible software, hardware, and sufficient knowledge to access and use the files.
- Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
