Brian Seligman
I am a Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist, session musician, and music producer with over 240 million streams across my career — and growing every week. My credits span the full range of what a working music career looks like: I've recorded on a track featuring Miley Cyrus, recorded for Grammy-winning producer Brandi Carlile, and spent nearly a decade on the road with country legend Tanya Tucker (2015–2024). I'm also an original member of Birdtalker, the indie folk band whose music was featured on John Mayer's Life show on SiriusXM. Most recently recorded guitars, mandolin, and pedal steel on country legend Billy Ray Cyrus' 2026 album. On the live side, I've appeared on Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Ellen, the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman, Stagecoach, and Farm Aid — alongside artists including Jelly Roll, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Ann Womack, Shooter Jennings, Jamey Johnson and more! When I listen to your music, I'm hearing it through the ears of someone who has stood on those stages, been in those rooms, and knows what separates a good song from one that truly connects. My feedback is honest, specific, and practical — focused on what will actually move the needle for your music and your career. Whether it's arrangement, performance, production direction, song structure, or simply whether a track has "it," I'll tell you what I hear and what I'd do. Please include a note with your order about what stage your track is at and what you're hoping to get out of the feedback — that helps me give you the most useful, targeted response possible.

When you purchase a SoundCheck, send me your track along with a short note telling me where it's at (rough demo, near-final mix, etc.) and what you most want feedback on. The more context you give me, the more targeted and useful my response will be. You'll receive one round of honest, detailed feedback — delivered as either written notes or a recorded voice memo — within 5 days. I'll cover what's working, what isn't, and specific actionable suggestions you can actually use. Depending on what the song needs, I may speak to arrangement, instrumentation, production choices, performance, song structure, or overall direction. I approach every SoundCheck the way I'd want someone to approach mine — with real ears, real experience, and no fluff.
