floating

“floating” is a mellow lo-fi instrumental inspired by the feeling of emotional weightlessness - drifting through thoughts in a quiet late-night state. Built around jazz-influenced harmony and a distinctive bassline, the track combines vibraphone, Fender Rhodes and boom bap drums to create a warm, reflective atmosphere with plenty of space for vocals. As a jazz-trained bassist, I bring a nuanced and musical approach to lo-fi production, with a strong focus on feel, harmony and detail. This beat is a good fit for artists looking for an intimate, melodic foundation for toplining, songwriting or a vocal-based release.
